Performer, educator, and creator Kyle A. Lamb (he/him) grew up in Worthington, Ohio where he was fortunate enough to attend a school with a strong music program. By the sixth grade, he spent no fewer than three of his weekly recesses in the music room as part of the Orff ensemble, recorder ensemble, and choir, and spent some of his class time each week in the string ensemble playing viola and in the band playing the glockenspiel. He taught himself piano by watching a PBS special with Scott “The Piano Guy” Houston and from his great aunt’s chord books before trying and quitting piano lessons. In his senior year of high school, he quit pursuing music and started college as an art major before quitting that and un-quitting music. He now produces educational orchestra concerts for children and explores the intersection of various arts as a composer and performer.
