She also served as the Principal Bass and Personnel Manager of the Pittsburgh Philharmonic.

Mrs. Bennett has performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, West Michigan Symphony, Queen City Opera, Queen City Chamber Orchestra, Butler Philharmonic, Ohio Valley Symphony, as well as many other ensembles.

Currently, Naomi Bennett is the acting Principal Bassist of the Colour of Music Festival for Black Classical Musicians (COMF), where she recently performed in Charleston, SC in February 2024. She will return to Sacramento, CA for their upcoming festival this fall.

While Mrs. Bennett’s current discipline is performance, she is also interested in continuing to compose, arrange, and learn more about arts administration. She greatly desires to develop programs to assist students with limited resources to pursue their own careers in the arts, as well as create a scholarship foundation for students showing excellence in both academia and performance.
