Oboist Sarah Minneman is adjunct faculty at Earlham College and the Chamber Music Coordinator at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Sarah is also an active teacher and freelancer in the greater Cincinnati area and performs with orchestras in the region such as Louisville Orchestra, Evansville Philharmonic, Lima Symphony Orchestra, and Richmond Symphony Orchestra among others. A staunch believer in the importance of chamber music and community engagement programs, Sarah is a two-time recipient of the Max H. Gluck Fellowship.

Sarah is currently finishing her Doctorate in Oboe Performance at CCM, with cognates in Chamber Music and Musicology. Sarah holds an MM in Oboe Performance from the University of Southern California where she was a member of the USC Scholarship Woodwind Quintet. She also holds a BM in Oboe Performance and a BA in Germanic Studies from the University of Maryland. Sarah’s principal teachers have included Titus Underwood, Mark Ostoich, Dwight Parry, Allan Vogel, Joel Timm, Marion Kuszyk, David Weiss, and Mark Hill.
