At 27 years old, violinist Sophie Pariot has thrilled audiences all around the world. She has performed with the Juilliard Orchestra, the Conservatoire Nationale Superior de Musique et Danse orchestra and worked with world renowned conductors such as Alan Gilbert, Semyon Bychkov and Christoph Eschenbach.

Admitted at age 12 into the Juilliard Pre-College program she received 3rd prize in the Mozart Violin Competition.  2 years later Ms. Pariot was chosen to play on “From The Top” live Radio Show at Music Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio and in 2009 she won 1st prize at the Eastern Music Festival Competition. She graduated from The Juilliard School and attended the prestigious Conservatoire Nationale Superior de Musique et Danse in Paris for 1 year. 

Recent engagements include playing as a section violinist with the Louisville Symphpony, a 11 day tour around China with the Schleswig Holstein Festival in 2016 , as well as performances over the years with orchestras as principal, and co-concertmaster of the Stamford Philharmonic Orchestra, The Aspen Music Festival Orchestra and the Starling String Chamber Orchestra. Ms. Pariot is a vivid chamber musician as well, having taken part on Juilliard’s Chamberfest and performing at music festivals.
